Improving Children's Oral Health

Dental decay is almost totally preventable but is the single most common reason to admit children to hospital in Scotland. Children in Scotland have substantially higher levels of dental decay than other European countries but the good news is that the latest figures show an increasing trend in the percentage of primary school children with no obvious dental decay. Glenbervie Dental Clinic is a Childsmile accredited clinic which promotes dental health in children through a programme of dietary advice, oral hygiene advice and the use of topical fluoride gels and fissure sealants. If you have any queries about your child's dental health, or to register please phone 01324 682222
