NHS DENTISTRY
When you contact us to register as a new NHS patient, we will take some personal details such as:-

Date of Birth

Your Address and Postcode

A Contact Telephone Number
We will then arrange an appointment for your full dental check-up.

AT YOUR FIRST CHECK-UP
We will welcome you at our reception and ask you to fill out a confidential medical history form. This ensures your dentist knows about any medical conditions you may have and any medication you are taking.
We will also ask you to sign a form to complete your NHS registration. You will then be seen by your dentist for your initial check-up.
During your check-up, your dentist will:-

ask about any health problems you have had

examine your mouth, teeth and gums

take x rays of your teeth if indicated

tell you if you need any treatment

tell you how to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy
If you need treatment, your dentist will:-

Explain your options, detailing nhs treatments and alternative options if feasible

Give you a treatment plan, detailing what treatment is required estimated costs.
AFTER YOUR FIRST DENTAL CHECK-UP
After your appointment, we will arrange another appointment should you require further treatment or arrange your next 6 monthly check-up appointment. Options are available for alternative cosmetic dental treatments.
