At Glenbervie Dental Clinic we use a system called Quick Straight Teeth, an affordable, comfortable and effective way of straightening your teeth and cosmetically enhancing your smile. Braces are almost invisible and work by concentrating on irregularities of the front 6 or 8 teeth realigning these to a cosmetically acceptable position.
Quick Straight Teeth braces can correct mild to moderate problems quickly, usually within 4 to 6 months.
Prior to treatment starting impressions are taken of your upper and lower teeth and these are sent to the Quick Straight Teeth lab. The casts are scanned and analysed to determine if your teeth are suitable. It is possible to predict how teeth will appear and therefore it is known that the treatment will be successful before commenced.
The Quick Straight Teeth system uses only clear braces (brackets) and tooth coloured wires, making these virtually invisible. The patient is required to return at monthly intervals for 3 months to have the wire aspect of the brace changed until the desired effect is achieved. Once there, the teeth are held in place by a fixed retainer positioned at the back of the teeth to hold them in their new position. A removable retainer is also provided for night time wear to ensure no relapse, and a whitening tray is provided at the end of treatment as a further cosmetic boost.
How is the appearance of the cosmetic braces?
The brackets and wires are tooth coloured and designed to blend in with your natural dentition making them appear almost invisible in the mouth and more cosmetically acceptable for the duration of treatment.
How long until you have straight teeth?
